With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Ernest Cooper of Follansbee, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Jessie Cooper (Chuffey); and his sisters, Kathryn Isler, Bella Lonetta, Edna King, Dorothy Fisher, Wilma Jean Esposito, Irene Bowman and Martha Borsch.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Cooper (Vickers); his children, William Cooper (Debi) of Lima, OH, Daniel Cooper (Karen) of Pittsburgh, PA, John Cooper (Lori) of Wellsburg, WV and Julie Byers (Chris) of Weirton, WV; and his grandchildren, Jessica Smith (Nile), Drew Cooper, Jacob Cooper (Abbey), Tyler Cooper (Austin), Ben Cooper, Kylie Byers, Jenna Cooper, Chrissy Byers and Cooper Byers. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mullenbach Funeral Home (669 Main St, Follansbee, WV 26037). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
