It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan Paula Kurcina of Follansbee, West Virginia, who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Susan Paula may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Paul and Eleanor "Norie" Kurcina (DeAngelis); and her pet Molly. She is survived by: her sisters, Kathleen Reinacher (Robert) of Follansbee, WV and Stephanie Kurcina of Follansbee, WV; her nephews, William Reinacher (Shelley) and Joseph Reinacher (Brandi); and her close friends, Deb Witkowski and Georgia Jonczak. She is also survived by two great nieces and one great nephew; numerous cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mullenbach Funeral Home (669 Main St, Follansbee, WV 26037). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (1017 Jefferson St, Follansbee, WV 26037).
