He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley F. Stoner and Martha E. Stoner (Fithen); his wife Linda Stoner; and his sisters, Lenice Hollowell and Janice Zoeckler.

He is survived by: his sons, Jason Stoner (Kristina) of Weirton, WV and Justin Stoner of Follansbee, WV; his grandchildren, Jonah, Quintin, Kaycee, Cooper and Carlo; and his brothers, Roland Stoner (Jane) of Wellsburg, WV and Bradley Stoner of Wellsburg, WV. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
