She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Willis Harford and Marlene Louise Strother Blankenship; her husband Guy W. Strader; and her brothers, Ralph, Dennis Harford and Patrick Backo.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christie McGaughey (Eric) of Elizabeth, WV and Melissa McGaughey of Burgettstown, PA; her grandchildren, Walter J. Thompson, III, Mariah Jeter, Elijah McGaughey, Raphael Butler, Jr. and Daniel Miller; her great grandchildren, Evian McGaughey and McKenna Baldwin; and her siblings, Mike Snyder, John Backo, Kathie Morris, Vickie Nichols and Harold Blankenship. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was an avid supporter of St. Jude's Children's Hospital, the Christian Children's Fund, Open Doors and the American Cancer Society.
