We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2022, at the age of 65, Karen Sue VanDyke of Follansbee, West Virginia, born in Steubenville, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Thompson and Josephine Thompson (DeBarr); her brother Vernon; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Michael VanDyke of Follansbee, WV; her children, Dana VanDyke (Todd DeCollo) of Carlsbad, CA and Derek VanDyke (Rae Ann) of Weirton, WV; her grandchildren, Madison and Hendrik VanDyke; her brother Dewey Thompson (Joyce) of Follansbee, WV; and her siblings-in-law, Paul VanDyke, Marla of Vienna, WV, Joyce Rea of Follansbee, WV, Chip of Follansbee, WV, Jane Utz of Follansbee, WV and Don of Follansbee, WV. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
