It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Josephine Checca of Follansbee, West Virginia, who passed away on April 26, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Checca and Lucia "Lucy" Checca (D'Alesio); and her sisters, Anna Cipriani, Blanche DiPietro and Antoinette "Beaver" Panza.

She is survived by: her sister Elizabeth Andriano; her brother-in-law John Panza; and her friend Donna DiPasquale. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and great nephews and great great nieces and great great nephews.
