He was predeceased by: his parents, Domenico Settimio and Guilia "Ollie" Settimio (DiGiacinto); his son-in-law William Jackson; and his siblings, Virginia Pomante, Guy Settimo, Mary Collins and Helen Eberhart.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Gerri" Settimio (Roberts); his children, Suzanne Wells (Ron), Walter Joe Settimio (LaVonne), Robin Jackson, Maribeth Edwards (David), Lori Barney (Scott), Cathy Northcutt (Chris) and Randy Settimio (Roberta); his grandchildren, Nicole, Jessica, Travis, Megan, Raymond and Aaron; his great grandchildren, Dalton, Rylie, Jaxon, Conner, Emma and Charlie Ann; and his sisters, Ollie Eddie and Angela Bowers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
