He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Donald Swain and Leone Ross Swain; and his siblings, Curtis D. Swain, Donald Swain and Betty Latimer.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Archer Swain; his children, Jackie Bioux (Tom) of Follansbee, WV and Douglas Eugene Swain; his granddaughters, Kristen Nutt (Steven) and Courtney Bioux; and his great grandchildren, Solden Nutt, Judah Nutt and Asher Nutt.
