She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Somerville and Elah Somerville (Greathouse); and her siblings, Billy, Harry, Robert Somerville and Mary Strickland.
She is survived by: her husband Clifford Carpenter; her children, Donna DiBiase (Paul) of Steubenville, OH and Robert Carpenter (Mary Beth) of Follansbee, WV; her stepchildren, Randy Weaver (Cindy) of Reynoldsburg, OH, Marla Mercer (Gary) of Wellsburg, WV, Penny Foose (Chuck) of Wellsburg, WV and Darak Weaver (Jana) of Brownsville, TX; her siblings, John, Jim Somerville, Betty Scarberry and Doris Easter; her grandchildren, Robert Carpenter (Paula), Clint Carpenter (Sarah), Alexis Santangelo (Ryan) and John Hendrickson (Denise); her great grandchildren, Ben, Ethan, Emma, Crosby, Kaitlyn, Robbie, Kaleigh, Greyson and Addison; and her great great grandchild Atalas. She is also survived by eight step-grandchildren, six step great great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is suggesting memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice at 10686 State Route 150 Rayland, OH 43943.
