He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Iza L. "Pat" Pyle and Hazel V. Pyle (Adams); his stepfather Bill Calhoun; his son Brian Keith "Keithy" Pyle; his stepsons, Mark and Dusty Knight; and his siblings, Blanche Shaffer, Marvin Pyle and Loretta Trader.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby A. Pyle (Shugars); his children, Shawnna Swiger, Meshelle Gregory and Robert L. "Bobby" Pyle, Jr.; his grandchildren, Brianna "Breezy" Swiger, Kelcee Gregory and James Gregory; his great grandchildren, Caroline Grace and Lydia James Gregory; his stepson Robert Knight; his stepgrandchildren, Robbie, Mike, Ruby Jo, Mark, Tyler, Lawrence Knight, Aimee Jung and Andrew James Hagelin; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kailee, Layla, Maddox Jung, Aydin, Nolan and Lucas Hagelin; his siblings, Ada Anglin, Augie Gray, Virgil Pyle and Goldie Pyle; and his nephews, Paul and Larry Trader. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
