He is survived by: his parents, John Thomas Sloan and Kathryn Paggi Sloan of Louisiana; his wife Tina Dawson Sloan; his children, Ashley Scott and Meghan Camara; his grandchildren, Michael Dewayne, Asher David and Finley James; and his siblings, Jason Sloan (Bridgett), Krystal Thompson (Nick), Julia Hebb (Angel) and Dennis Wyer. He is also survived by his family and friends.
