He was predeceased by: his parents, John Knotts and Erma Knotts (Ramsey); his daughter Sonya A. Moore-Coats; and his great great grandchild Ahmir Holloway. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Paulette Knotts (Fleming); his sister Imogene Fleming of Flemington; his great grandchildren, Dakota Linkous, Sierra Lange, Savannah Jenkins, Isabella Jenkins, Syncere Coats, Kinsley Coats and Naomi Coats; and his great great grandchildren, Bryson Linkous, Olivia Lange, Jace Linkous and Owen Brooks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
