He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Gibson and Laverna Katherine Gibson (Gillespie); and his wife Carolyn Gibson (Hacker). He is survived by: his son Lanty "Nathan" "Nick" Gibson (Debra); his siblings, Artie Cogar, Lovie Gibson, Myrtle Gibson, Mary Carpenter (Gibson), Okey Gibson, Dovie West (Gibson), William Gibson, James T. Gibson, Glades Gibson, Arthur Gibson, Worthie Gibson, Henry Scott Gibson, Pearl Skidmore (Gibson) and Pauline Francis Gibson; his children, William "Bill" J. Gibson (Connie) of Marietta, OH, Sarah L. (Gibson), Dennison (Donald) of Gassaway, WV, Charles Perrine (Becky) of Birch River, WV and Larry Perrine (Sandra) of Flatwoods, WV.; and his grandchildren, Gary Gibson, Bryan Moffatt (Tonya), Joshua D. Dennison (Erin), Jessica Marie McColley (Dennison), Wendy D. Gibson, Heather Sue (Gibson), Hildebrand (Kenny), Toni Gibson, Matthew Perrine (Punkie), Patrick Perrine (Paige), Wesley Perrine and David Perrine. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
