He is survived by: his sister Artie Cunningham; his children, Richard W. Hesse, II of Alexandria, VA, Jeffrey D. Hesse of Fisher, WV, Elizabeth A. Buhrow of Connersville, IN and Constance M. Hesse of Moorefield, WV; and his siblings, Lee Allen Hesse of Baker, WV, Darlene V. Turner of Petersburg, WV and Bonnie Kisamore of Cabins, WV. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
