With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Preston Ayers of Fayetteville, West Virginia, who passed away on November 27, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Raymond and Etta Faye Ayers (Altice). He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Misty Atkins (Lyle) and Amanda Bowyer; his son Daniel Sumpter; his grandchildren, Toby Levi Akers, Brianna Hysell and Alexis Hysell; and his siblings, Eulia Reed (Jerry) and Arthur Ayers (Barbara).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Daystar Worship Center (511 Kilsyth Rd, Mt Hope, WV 25880). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
