He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer D. Carl and Jennie Carl (Hepler); his wife Ruth Lea Martin Carl (Luzander); and his siblings, Elwood Carl and Virginia M. Carl.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Robert Martin of Florida and William Martin of Florida; his sister Sarah Jane Keiser of Mt. Joy; his nephew Douglas L. Carl of Springfield, VA; his niece Christine Hilner (Ivan) of Williamsport; and his pet Jewelle.
In keeping with COVID-19 guidelines visitors are asked to please wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions in his name be made to a charity of one's choice.
