It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eva Marie Evans of Fayetteville, West Virginia, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Roosevelt and Elsie Mae Turley Noble; her former husband Harry R. Burgess; her husband Houston Lee Evans, Sr.; her children, Sheila Nelson and Houston Ray Evans, Jr.; her grandson Christopher Johnson; and her sisters, Leona Smith, Margaret Humphrey and Pearl Kelly.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Arrington (James) and Jeff Evans; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Phillips, Christina Acord and Lavon Butcher. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
While masks are not required you might consider wearing one before entering the building as we all attempt to stop the spread of COVID 19.
