She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Shaver and Opal McQueen Shaver; her husband Gary Glen Light Sr.; and her siblings, Ruth Eder, Pauline Fridley and Charles Shaver.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Lynn Gill (Mark) of East Bend, NC, Gary Glen Light Jr. (Angel) of Tobaccoville, NC and Brian Keith Light Sr. (Susan) of Maiden, NC.; and her siblings, Dorthy Gorby (Randy) and David Shaver of Page, WV. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews.
