He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Hughes Tincher and Eddie Massie; his wife Sandra Massie; his sisters, Doris Christine Robertson, Marilyn Kay Cordell, Lea Ann Neff, Cheryl Berry and Connie Williams; and his son Austin Massie.

He is survived by: his sons, Casey Massie, Curtis Massie (Lindsey) and Cheyenne Clyburn (Jace); his grandchildren, Skylar Clyburn, Landon Massie, Lacey Massie, Penelope Massie, Jaxon Massie, Connor Massie, Corey Clyburn and Topanga Clyburn; and his siblings, Curtis Massie and Beverly Couch. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to High Lawn Funeral Home to assist with the cost of Bruce's cremation.
