She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lee Stewart and Bertha M. Davis Stewart; her spouse Carlson S. Guerrant; her stepson Alfred Dean Guerrant; and her siblings, Avaurn S. Staples, Marvin L. Stewart and James Stewart.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Teresa L. Guerrant of Washington, DC, Karen D. Hairston (Mervin) of Beckley, WV and Toni Lynette Robinson (Michael) of Roseland, VA; her grandchildren, Eric Carr, Traci Hairston, Derrick Carr and Aaron Hairston; her great grandchildren, Makayla Carr, Mikkah Carr and Michael Hairston; her siblings, Edith Mae Gilreath, Jane Lou Ash of Syracuse, NY, Marie McCall of West Babylon, NY, Barbara Stewart of Wyandanch, NY, Raymond Stewart (Phyllis) of Lansing, NC and Delores "Francina" Copeland of Greenville, SC; and her friend Joanne Cox of Galax, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends, while wearing masks and observing social distancing, may view and visit with the family one hour prior to the funeral service.
