He was predeceased by : his parents, Leslie H. Mahaney and Mary Ethel Mahaney (Bland); his brothers, Eugene and Jerry Mahaney; and his half-sisters, Thelma Stewart and Naomi Yost.
He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Ann Mahaney (Boggs); his sister Eleanor M. Moore of Pine Grove; his half-sister Helen Sites of Moorefield; his son Joseph Mahaney (Heidi) of Fairview; his grandchildren, Ashley Seipp (A. J.) of Rivesville, Jenna Mahaney of Rachel, Trisha Mahaney (Marcus Jacquez) of Fairmont, Madison Mahaney of Fairview, Joseph D. Mahaney of Fairview, Taylor Cook (Amber) of Farmington and Nicole Cook (Andrew Lewis) of Monongah; his great grandchildren, Kanayia Mahaney, Kiana, Aniyah, Aarilyn Edison, Liam, Alex Seipp, Timmy, Qwentin, Audrey Johnson, Ava, Callie Sheppard, Ryker Jacquez and Ryder Cook; his friends, Bill Webb, Larry Kincaid and Robert Hostuttler; and also Michelle Cook (Kevin) of Farmington.
