He is survived by: his wife Sandra G. Arnett Townsend; his children, Kitty Jo (Scott Hendricks) of Hagans Community and Brian Lee (Cyndi Townsend) of Farmington; his grandchildren, Logan, Colton Hendricks, Jordan (Billy Miller) and Peydan McVickers; his great grandchildren, Maxon and Maddyn Miller; and his siblings, Richard Townsend of Farmington and Freda Kelley of Fairmont. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
