He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Plachta Gillespie (Terry) of Chester and Josie Plachta of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Marcus Gillespie (Emily Reedy) of Berryville and Jaqueline Gillespie Armitage (Tyler) of Chester, Virginia; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Frobe of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
