He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eli Manning and Muriel Manning (Wine); his wife Linda Joyce Manning (Revels); his brother Jeff Manning; his brother-in-law Scott Howard; and his niece Trixie Minor.

He is survived by: his sisters, Elaine Moore (Thomas) of Barrackville, Manoki Howard of Crossroads and Rebecca Markley (Darrell) of New Carlisle, OH; his nephew Jason Robert Manning (Krista Hayes); his great-nephew Alex Hayes of Farmington; and his sister-in-law Loretta Manning of Monongah. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
