She is survived by: her mother Virginia Hite Penwell; her sisters, Joyce Anne Penwell and Donna Morris; her friend Richard Hockensmith; her sons, Richard "Richie" Hockensmith, II (Brande) and Joseph Groves, Jr.; her stepdaughters, Carol Hockensmith and Tammy Hockensmith; her grandchildren, Trey Hockensmith and Grayson Hockensmith; and her niece Kelly Penwell.
