He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harrison and Grace Malone (Clark) of Virginia; his wife Betty Sue; his former wife Janet Patterson Malone; and his son-in-law Bruce Hollinger.
He is survived by: his children, Sylvia Malone Hollinger of Martinsburg, WV, Melissa F. Hose (Roger, Jr.) and Ray E. Malone, Jr. (Tina) of Charles Town, WV; and his sister Lucille Shifflett of Winchester, VA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
