He is survived by: his wife Doris Anne Beard Merceruio; his children, David Merceruio (Donna) of Martinsburg, Thomas Merceruio (Bonnie) of Falling Waters, Timothy Merceruio (Janice) of Falling Waters and Laura Michele Byrd (Donald) of Myersville, MD; his grandchildren, Jeremiah, Tabitha, Daniel, Erin, Bridget, Zachary, Christine, Kane and Charlie; his brothers, Anthony D. Merceruio, Francis A. Merceruio and Paul Merceruio; and his brother-in-law Donald Beard (Marsha). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
