She was predeceased by: her parents, Carney Kief and Cora Virginia Stanley Kief; her husband Marshall Lee Ashby, Sr.; her daughter Linda Carol Kief; and her stepchildren, Charles Ashby and Gary Francis Ashby.
She is survived by: her son Marshall L. Ashby, Jr. (Elaine) of Falling Waters; her grandchildren, Melissa Ashby of Germantown, MD, Jacob Ashby (Kelli) of Hagerstown, MD and Terri Johnson (Mike); her great grandchildren, Owen Ashby and Brenden Johnson; and her stepchildren, Marsha Warden, Ronnie Ashby and Debra Snow.
