We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2021, at the age of 79, Duane Strickler of Falling Waters, West Virginia, born in Roanoke, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rev. Robert L. and Dawn T. Strickler; his wife Carol; his children, Lisa C. Herche (Robert Kent) of Woodbine, Tammy D. Burk (Steven) and Stephen D. Strickler (Denise) of Falling Waters, WV; his grandchildren, Christopher Herche (Mallory) of Union Bridge, MD, Kaitlyn Herche Willoughby (Shan) of Mechanicville, MD, Conner, Cassandra, Nathan Burk and Christian Strickler (Shannon); his great grandchildren, Harper, Elijah Willoughby Ryan (Mechanicsville, MD), Greyson, Lincoln Herche (Union Bridge, MD) and Ephraim Strickler of Falling Waters, WV; and his siblings, Charles Strickler (Cathy) of Harrisonburg, VA, Robert Strickler (Barbara) of St. Petersburg, FL and Marilyn Reed (Tim) of Wexford, PA.
Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
