He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter George Stevens and Ruby Evangeline Nazelrod Stevens; his daughter Debra Kay Stevens; his granddaughter Tiffiney Lynn Everhart; and his children-in-law, Michele Larue Stevens and Carroll Lee Foster, II.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Louise Jordan Stevens; and his children, David E. Stevens, Jr., Douglas Wayne Stevens (Betty), Justin Craig Stevens (Heather), Mary Kathleen Begbie (Mike) and Lisa Marie Foster (Dwayne Douty). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
