She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe P. Keplinger and Ethel Keplinger (Edwards); her husband Lawrence Ray McGowan; and her siblings, Lester Hamby, Dorothy Stotlemyer and Pauline McCleary.
She is survived by: her children, Mearl "Winky" Bowers (Greg) of Falling Waters, WV and Rodney; her grandson Jason; her great grandchildren, Kylie, Jayden and Wyatt; and her nephew John Spreaker Sr.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
