He was predeceased by: his parents, Learney Dice and Bertha Mae Tennant (Wilson); and his siblings, Learney Tennant Jr., Homer Tennant, Dwayne "Bud" Tennant, Helen Tennant, Pansy Lowther, Violet Conner, Marjorie Kiger, Mavis Lantz and Jean Berry.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila (Tom McGinnis), Rex (Jacklyn Tennant), Nancy Tennant Goode (Shawn) and Charles Tennant; and his brother Billy Tennant of Fairview. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
