It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Kay Houghton of Fairview, West Virginia, who passed away on September 10, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Thomas Haught and Nola Pearl Santee Haught; and her brother Bennet Haught. She is survived by: her husband Delmas Houghton; her children, Jeff Houghton (Loree) of Morgantown, WV and Jennifer Lackey (Mark) of Birmingham, AL; her grandchildren, Pierce Houghton, Sloan Houghton and Tabitha Lackey; her brother Stanley Haught (Rhonda) of Fairview, WV; her sister-in-law Cathie Haught; her nephew Brian Haught (Natalie); her great-nephew Ben; her great-niece Holly; her niece Jamie Christy (Gale); and also Macy. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to West Virginia Right to Life and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
