He is survived by: his parent Gladys Pennington Hinkle; his wife Catherine "Kitty" Johnson Hinkle; his children, Amy Bell (Gary Williams), Steven Hinkle, Brenda Hinkle and Thomas Hinkle; his grandchildren, Deidre Bell, Morgan Beach, Derek Hinkle (Kali) and Shayne Hinkle (Chloe Smith); his great grandchildren, Beau, Judson and Orion Beach; and his siblings, Marvin Hinkle (Wanda), Eleanor Jarrell (Bill), Barbara Snipes (David) and Karen Adams (Barry).
