He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Tennant and Ethel Dawson Tennant; and his siblings, Marguerite Wilson, Fern Lloyd and Beryl Tennant.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Tennant, Steve Tennant (Sharon), Catherine Drown (Tony), Tim Tennant (Kimberly) of Fairview, Jonathan Tennant of Kingwood, David Tennant (Joni) of Fairview and Natalie Tennant (Erik Wells) of Charleston; his brother-in-law Frank Brunetti (Martha) of Salem; his grandchildren, Kayla Tennant (Andi Burke), Stephenie Phenice (Wilford), Justin Tennant (Haleigh), Shawn Tennant (Megan), Eliza Drown, Matthew Tennant (Wittlee Retton), Tyler Tennant (Isabella Nutter), Johnny Drown (Ruby Fierros Espino), Peter Drown, Christian Drown, Sarah Tennant (Michael Bunch), Delaney Wells, Triton Tennant (Cheyenne Stewart), Eva Tennant and Thaddeus Tennant; and his great grandchildren, Avery Tennant, Luke Tennant, Audrey Tennant, Isaiah Drown, Mattie Jo Tennant, Wyatt Phenice, Wade Tennant and Eli Bunch. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
