He is survived by: his father Boyd Starkey; his wife Lela Florine Starkey; his daughters, Kathleen McCoy (David, Jr.), Cynthia Lowe (Jack, Jr.), Bobbi Lewis (Jeff Ancell) and Heather Lewis-Stevens (Micheal); his siblings, Michael Starkey (Julia) and Connie Starkey; his grandchildren, Matthew Lowe, Justin McCoy, Ariana Lowe, Joseph McDonough and Emma Lewis; and his great grandchildren, Madilynn McCoy and Phoenix McCoy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
