With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet K. Summers of Fairview, West Virginia, who passed away on August 20, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Knisely and Joy Knisely; her husband Marvin M. Summers; her brothers, William R. Brown (Geneva), Johnny M. Knisely and James Knisely; her parents-in-law, Clyde and Retta Summers; her siblings-in-law, James K. Williams, Carl Bauer, Frank Summers (Lottie), Chester Summers (Betty), Edward Bulkoski, Steve Kish, Ellen Jarvis (Carl), Madelyn Brummage (Howard), Jean Barr (Everett), Lillian Summers and Jaretta Gail Summers; and her granddaughter Alicia Dawn Shaheed.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Summers (Cheryl) of Fairview and Tammy Gump (Mike) of Fairview; her grandchildren, Ashley Bland (Josh) of Fairview, Kayla Given (Charlie) of Mannington and Shontae Shaheed of Morgantown; her great grandchildren, Westin Bland and Bailey Given; her sister June Bauer of Pennsylvania; and her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Knisely of Mannington, Betty Bulkoski of Ohio, Patty Kish of Ruby Summers, Otis Summers of Fairview, Dave Summers (Margaret) of Fairview and William "Bill" Summers (Toni) of Grant Town. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
