He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Steele and Catherine Sturm Steele; and his wife Rebecca Sharon Tennant Steele. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Steele (Jill Bell), Doug Steele (Elizabeth Harris) and Amanda Steele; his grandchildren, Alexis Steele, Ashley Steele, Jacoby Steele, Elijah Steele, Benjamin Steele and Caleb Steele; and his great grandchild Elias Steele.
