He was predeceased by: his parent Walter John Barth, Jr.; his wife Barbara Barth; his grandson Jonathan Frausto; and his brother Walter John Barth III. He is survived by: his parent Maysel May Twyman Barth; his daughters, Belinda Frausto (Jesse Moore) and Veronica Ogawa (Chuck Goodin); his grandchildren, Steven Zembraski (Hailey), Ryan Ogawa and Lauren Ogawa; his great grandchildren, Kyler Berry, Zoey Sapp and Sylas Zembraski; and his siblings, Thomas Barth and Beverly Crockett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
