He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie O. Simmons and Evelyn Kisner Simmons; his wife Sue Simmons (Johnson); and his sister Sheila Sine Arley (Mayor). He is survived by: his children, Paula Davisson (Phil Stewart) of Farmington, John Davisson (Kathy) of Springfield, Arley "Tink" Simmons of Fairview and Barbara Simmons of Laws Hill, Tennessee; his brother Louis "Louie" Simmons (Barb); his brother-in-law Ben Sine; his sister Connie Seese (Bill) of Ohio; his grandchildren, Twyla Bergenstal (John) of Minnessota, Samantha Thomason (Anthony) of North Carolina, Patrick Sconish of Fairmont and Adriana Simmons of Morgantown; and his great grandchildren, Ryker Thomason and Kate Morgan Bergenstal.
