He is survived by: his wife Sandra N. Shannon; his children, Nikki Shannon (Charles) of Nashville, TN, Jasmine Shannon of Millington, TN, Natisha Shannon of Nashville, TN and Demetre Jones (Courtney) of Millington, TN; and his siblings, Margaret Holman Jr. (Jay) of Fairmont, Genevieve Freed (Gary) of Morgantown, Carolyn Stubbs (Emerson Harrison) of Gastonia, NC, Robert Stubbs of Fairmont, John Stubbs (Martha) of Fairmont and Julian Stubbs (Robin) of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by six grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
