It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Valora Elouise Mayo Martin of Fairmont, West Virginia, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 7, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Curtis and Jeannette Sandy Mayo; her husband Paul Ray Martin; her daughter Brenda Sue Martin; her son-in-law Franklin D. Keener; her grandson Franklin D. Keener Jr.; her brother Richard Curtis Mayo Jr. (Edith Virginia Looman); and her niece Ida Jeannette Mayo Diem.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Martin Keener of Fairmont; and her nephew Richard Curtis Mayo, III. She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews, as well as great-great nieces and nephews.
