He was predeceased by: his father Walter Scott Reed, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Margaret A. Springer Reed; his wife Karen Shaver Reed; his son John Jarrett Reed (Elizabeth Williams) of Fairmont; his brother Walter Scott Reed III (Tina) of Fairmont; his niece Taylor Marie Mancini (Braden) of Fairmont; his uncle Otis Shaver of Fairmont; and his brother-in-law Robert R. Shaver of Pinehurst, NC. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
