He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Ed" and Mamie Swisher Barnes; his wife Barbara Ann Johnson Barnes; his son Mark Barnes; his brother John "Ed" E Barnes (Deanie); and his brothers-in-law, Robert Spadaro and Tom Griffith.
He is survived by: his daughter Allyson Cavrich (Lee Glover); his grandchildren, Stevie Cavrich, Courtney Bock and Tabitha Lafferre (John); his great grandchildren, Lindsey, Bella, Liam, Sidney and Rosalie; his sisters, Boonie Spadaro of Miami, Fla., Mary Griffith of Parkersburg and Lila Bosley (Bob); and his niece Ruthie Barnes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
