He is survived by: his son Steve Helms II (Amber Kellar) of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Gage Helms, Dayton and Raygan Helms; his sisters, Judith Perry and Cindy Hannah of Lumberport; his uncles, Bob Sprouse (Linda) of Clarksburg and Eddie Sprouse of Clarksburg; his aunt Carol Lott of Virginia; and his nephews, Harold Perry, James Hannah and Blake Hannah (Brandy).
