She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlie Arshell and Mildred Watkins Lewis; her husband Edward Calvin Buchanan; her siblings, Carroll Eugene Lewis, Bertha Pauline Lewis and Betty Lee Lewis; and her brother-in-law Gordon Mickey Bush.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward Calvin Buchanan Jr. (Rebecca) of Charles Town, Robert Eugene Buchanan (Tina) of Morgantown and Richard McIntyre (Tanya) of Barrackville; her sister Margaret Virginia Wagner of Fairmont; her grandchildren, Gerald Calvin Buchanan, Allison Buchanan, Grace Buchanan, Cassandra Sue Buchanan, Meghan Leigh Buchanan and Desiree Kendall; her great grandchild Debra Morgan (Randall) of Worthington; and her nephew David Lewis (Tina) of White Hall. She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
