She was predeceased by: her husbands, Hal Palmer, Walter Malick and James Edwards; her daughter Susan Wright; and her parents, Wayne Hudgins and Eunice Stokes Hudgins.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven Palmer (Patty) of Fairmont and Scott Malick (Debbie) of Fairmont; and her grandchildren, Mandi, Steven and Susan. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorial contributions be made in Shirley's memory to Grace Lutheran Church, 300 Gaston Ave., Fairmont, WV 26554.
