He is survived by: his mother Kathleen Hairfield Satterwhite of Virginia Beach; his wife Mary Ann Whitlatch Satterwhite of Fairmont; his children, Robert James Satterwhite, II, Nora Satterwhite and Sarah Hays (Josh); his brothers, Walter "Bud" Satterwhite (Joy) and Donald S. Satterwhite; his niece Laura Payne (Dave); and his great-nephews, Blake and Logan Payne.
