He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Kerns and Ellen Kerns. He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Lawson Kerns; his brother Tom Kerns (Nancy); and his close friends, Tim and Louise Glover. He is also survived by step children; 16 grandchildren.
