He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Sr. Sloan and Louise Sloan (Hawkins); his wife Linda Sue Sloan (Cross); his sister Denise Jack; his parents-in-law, Dolly Cross and Arthur Cross; and his siblings-in-law, Albert Cross and Marcia Cross.
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Sloan (Jennifer) of Fairmont and Michael Sloan (Karla) of Worthington; his grandchildren, Courtney Morris (Aaron), Justin Sloan, Alyssa Sloan-Oliverio (Nathan) and Ethan Sloan; his great grandchildren, Braxton and Avery Morris; his sisters, Barbara Floyd (Larry) and Sandra Echols; and his brother-in-law Donald Jack. He is also survived by many nieces/nephews and other cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Domico Funeral Home (414 Gaston Ave, Fairmont, WV 26554).
